A naked woman carrying a cross walks through the Copenhagen Stock Exchange. This performance was called "Female Christ". The social revolution and constant pushing of boundaries in the late 1960s meant that artists' expression took new directions. Some artists challenged the prevailing values and behavior in society through performance art. But it also means that significant voices and pieces of art history from this period are at risk of disappearing because they exist only as photographic or video records. Perfume "Female Christ" ensures that the memory of the performance created and performed by the artists, Lene Adler Petersen and Bjørn Nørgaard at the Copenhagen Stock Exchange, will last forever.
