The real soul of India. "The aroma of Varanasi is inspired by a trip to India I experienced in 2017. I convey what remains of India in my heart, mind, soul and sense of smell. Varanasi is a sacred and profane place of scents, full of contrasts and meanings. I created this perfume guided by a special emotion that I felt in my palms touching the holy water of the Ganges. I tried to find a source from which to create in my olfactory memory." - Meo Fusciuni. Varanasi is a fragrant mandala where watery, animalistic and carnal ambergris envelops our soul. The ritual begins with warm and red spicy notes of saffron, nutmeg and cardamom. A strong floral heart: amulets of roses and jasmine, dusty and woody musky ylang ylang and veiled vetiver. As an Indian Sadhu's religious ritual, covered in white ash, takes shape amid the sacred notes of nard incense and wing resin. In the city of Varanasi at night chants are heard at the temple and shadows walking around, agarwood, vetiver and mystical leather chords envelop the body. Sounds of unknown instruments. Dawn rises over the slow-flowing river. Varanasi, a place where the soul will try to find refuge.. this perfume becomes a magical experience, without compromise.
