Grenadille d'Afrique is a tribute to African ebony and its natural species. In 2016, created by perfumer Alberto Morillas. the aroma conveys the history of a rare and ancient tree, grenadilla. The fragrance, which combines elements of smoky wood, balsamic resin and sun-heated stone, evokes the primeval landscape of Africa. The composition of the fragrance is defined by accords of Haitian vetiver, wood, smoke and earth. Sparkling bergamot, lavender and creeper add a sense of sunset or dawn, while vanilla and shaggy sage resin add balsamic warmth, creating a scent that balances between day and night.
