Shiso is the Japanese name of Perilla, an aromatic plant that has been cultivated in Asia since ancient times, and in Japan since the 3rd century. The scent of shiso essence is powerful and complex: green and powdery notes, close to mimosas, crossed by a cinnamon-like, spicy wave of menthol freshness.
Oshiso is an instantly mesmerizing nameless composition illuminated by a trio of bergamot, apple blossom and heliotrope wood. The exotic smell of shiso leaves enhances the note with a special spicy freshness. Unexpected and highly desirable.
